Celebrating Hatton Auto Supply for 30+ Years

  • Founded in 1992 by the father-son-daughter in law team of William, Greg and Marcia Hatton, H&H Auto Parts was formed when the three purchased the Brownstown NAPA store. Greg had a history of managing the Seymour NAPA store, while William Hatton had his own Auto Repair Shop north of Seymour. With extensive knowledge in the automotive and aftermarket industry, the two saw the opportunity to form a legacy for future generations within the NAPA Auto Parts system.

  • 1992

  • After two years of success in the Brownstown community, the Seymour NAPA store came up for sale and the Hatton team jumped on the opportunity to purchase the store that Greg Hatton had managed for 10 years.

  • 1994

  • From 1994 to 1999, the Hatton team saw considerable growth at the Seymour location and as a result moved from its original location on Tipton Street to its current and long-standing location on 1412 State Street. The State Street location provided more room for growth in future years.

  • 1999

  • Sales Manager, Tim Kramer joins the Hatton team with extensive knowledge in the automotive aftermarket industry as well as the heavy duty truck supply market.

  • 2004

  • As the Seymour location continued to grow, the Hatton team expanded its store operations by adding on a warehouse connected to the original State Street location. This allowed the team to expand into more product lines and increase its inventory to customers significantly.

  • 2008

  • Seymour Store Manager, Michelle Mathis joins the Hatton team with years of experience in the NAPA world. With her addition to the team, Hatton Auto Supply was able to expand into the hydraulic hose business segment by offering quality hoses and fittings by Weatherhead.

  • 2013

  • 2019

  • Tyler Hatton, grandson of William Hatton and son of Greg and Marcia Hatton, joins the Hatton team in a General Manager role as Greg and Marcia eye a transition into retirement.

  • In 2025, a significant milestone was reached when Tyler and Alyssa Hatton purchased the business in its entirety from Greg and Marcia Hatton. This change in leadership sparked a rebranding effort from H&H Auto Parts to Hatton Auto Supply, a move designed to honor the family’s 30+ years of deep-rooted history in the South-Central Indiana auto supply industry
